Marshall's Garage of Geekiness. Dix has just informed Marshall of the (fake) niridium. Marshall says it's nasty stuff and asks for the lot number. Dix gives it. Marshal exposits that NASA has been (fakely) experimenting with (fake) niridium as a long-term (fake) power source for (fake) deep-space programs, but the problem is that it's inherently unstable and most commonly used as a (fake) high-yield explosive. And if y'all have any intel to offer up about the reality of niridium that Google couldn't offer (that doesn't involve spark plugs), I'll welcome all emails that contain such information. Basically, it's supposed to be some volatile shit, and when Marshall plugs in the lot number, he suddenly goes, "Uh-oh."
We switch back to Syd and DMG. DMG is telling Syd that she has no idea what she's dealing with. This scene pretty much goes something like this: "You have no idea what you're dealing with." "Tell me what I'm dealing with." "You wanna know the truth?" "Try me." "You're better off not knowing." "Actually, I want to know. Tell me." "I'd rather die than tell you what you're dealing with." "What am I dealing with?" "You have no idea." "So tell me." "I'd rather die." "You'll die soon enough. What am I dealing with?" "You have no idea." And so on. And so on. And they'll tell two friends. And so on. And so on.
Dix enters and tells Syd that they need to chat. They head off into the other room and Dix tells her that six canisters of (fake) niridium disappeared from a Russian processing plant last month and they're from the same lot as the one they just recovered. Weiss pipes up that they think DMG already has the other canisters and that if they let DMG go, he'll lead them to the rest of the (fake) niridium. Syd's not fond of this idea, as it lets Vaughn's killer go free. Dix says that they'll make DMG think he's escaped. Syd just thinks they need more time to break him. Dix says they have no more time. "With that much [fake] niridium," he says, "we're looking at Hiroshima times fifty." Yes. That would definitely be (fake) bad.
