We switch to Carrie and Sydney, hugging it out over Marshall's disappearance. Carrie's confused as to why a game designer would be kidnapped. Jack and Syd share a glance, and Syd spills the beans about Marshall's real job. Getty calls Jack and tells him that Rachel's missing too. Guess you shouldn't have left so soon, huh, Getty? Carrie's pissed that Marshall lied to her, but Syd explains that he had no choice. Carrie wants to go with them back to APO because she needs something to do and she can help out on the tech side. Jack agrees, and they all head to the Apple Store.

Dungeons and Dandies. Sark is performing his version of torture on Rachel. Fortunately for her, his version involves talking about all the sex they had and looking generally dapper and handsome. He sticks sensors to her chest and right temple as she glares at him. After some not-so-witty repartee, Sark hits a switch and Rachel's body is juiced with electricity.

Apple Store. Dix and Jack are discussing the kidnappings and Dix declares that it was most certainly Sloane. What they don't know is why he did it. Jack thinks Sloane needs something from Marshall and Rachel. "You were right about him," says Jack. "After Irina was extracted and I was taken into custody, I had to designate a guardian for Sydney. I chose Sloane. In spite of everything he's done, I believed some part of him was still a friend. I once trusted him with my daughter. Clearly, I was wrong." Yeah, you sure as hell were, buddy. But that's okay. We love you anyway.

Sydney brings Carrie into Marshall's Garage of Geekiness. Vaughn's toying with his computer (no, that is NOT a euphemism) and having no luck getting into the program Marshall designed to track The Twelve. Carrie's all, "Vaughn! Hi! But you're! Wait! That was a lie! My whole life is a lie! Hey, can I help you with that computer?" Carrie sits down and one second later, she has access. Syd asks what it was and Carrie says, "Moonglum of Elwher." "Oh, well, that was my next guess," quips Vaughn. Heh. Carrie asks what else she can do and we switch to Marshall, continuing his torture, already in progress. It looks like he's not bleeding from his hand, so I guess she's only…breaking his fingers? Well, that's effective. Sloane enters and asks for a moment alone with Marshall.
