American High - Can I graduate?

Finale: Can I look in faces that I meet? Can I get my punk ass off the street? If you're Pablo, that answer is a resounding "NO." Everyone else, even Morgan, manages to get the hell out of Highland Park High School unscathed. There's a hefty amount of introspection, tossed together with some regrets, and just a dash of delinquency. Did I mention the tears? Yeah. There are tears. Mostly mine, but that's not important right now.

American High - Hey, Pablo. You made me cry. You still suck.

War & Pieces: No matter how hard he tries, Pablo still makes me want to stick sharp things through his eyeballs. Other than that, Allie's been kicked out of her mom's house and Morgan's having a hard time dealing with the fact that he might actually have to LEAVE high school. I make Wedge get me more liquor as I contemplate how to have Pablo shipped off to a remote island full of leeches.

American High - It's Called "Prom," Not "Nirvana."

Promises, Prom Misses: Know what? Regina didn't go to prom. Know what else? Regina doesn't appreciate writing about it now. Wanna know something else? She's still bitter. Wanna know what happens in this prom-centric episode? Too bad. Regina's having her friend Lena back Lena's Buick over Regina's head.

American High - If it ain't broke, some alcohol-soaked teenager will break it

Spring Broken: What does spring break mean to you? Booze, boobs, and buttheads? Yeah. Me too. Our sassy seniors head down to the Bahamas for some food, fun, frolic, and intense inebriation. Not having any interest in consecutive hangovers, Kaytee and her fellow band members head off for China for an international band competition. Yeah. They stink. But they got these awesome panda t-shirts.

American High - Home is where the heart attack is

Homeward Bound: You hate your parents. You love your parents. You hate them. You love them. Hate. Love. We get it. Trust us. Kaytee's parents see-saw between divorce and sticking it out for the kids; Allie demolishes her mother when she attends the faux-wedding of her life-destroying father; and Morgan's alien-nation Nazi of a mother passes out his pet hamsters to distant strangers while also managing to put his ailing cat to sleep. Parents. Can't live with 'em, can't commit them to old folks' homes soon enough.

American High - Winter Formalities

Winter Formalities: It's dancin' time at HPHS, and Suzy pretends that she'd rather be concentrating on her vocal chords than her kissing techniques. There's trouble in paradise with Mouth and Salima, primarily because he gets caught trying to give her some hoochie-mama items from Vicky's Secret. And Tiffany tries to get over a crush on a guy not worthy of her spittle.

American High - Winter Chill

Winter Chill: It's all about Abby. At least, in her pretty perfect world it is. We revisit the whole "college applications suck" theme that we explored in the last episode. Brad gets into NYU, Abby gets pseudo-rejected from University of Wisconsin at Madison, Allie suddenly wakes up and realizes she is so NOT going to graduate, and Puck Lite tries to take up a collection to get into Harvard. Dude. You're no Will Hunting. Give it up.

American High - It's just like high school -- but with ashtrays and student loans

Bustin' Out: The blossoming seniors at Highland Park High have college on their minds -- thus supplanting the ever-present hodgepodge of sex, drugs, and Moby that usually rattles around in their gray matter. Allie wants to go to college, but only when SHE'S ready - which may not be until the year 2003. Anna frets and fusses about getting into her first choice -- Brown University. Shut up, Anna. And, once again, Pablo manages to piss me off before he even comes on-screen. As soon as he opens up his mouth, however, he just endears himself to me in a heartbeat. Not.

American High - You gotta fight! For your right! To, uh...

Saints and Sinners: The word you're looking for is "party," and the kids at Highland Park High are fairly familiar with that term. Well, at least pablum-slinging Pablo is. Unfortunately, his be-pierced platonic girlfriend Petty is not, and proves it with some post-hijinks legal action. Kaytee discovers what it's like to be young and in love and as insignificant as a gnat on the bottom of someone's Doc Marten. Unfortunately, Kaytee's bespectacled platonic boyfriend Scooter is right there to pick up the shattered pieces of her heart, and proves it by copping a video-diary feel.

American High - Pressure High

Pressure High: Robby, Anna, Allie, and Kaytee and some of the other kids all go off in their video diaries about how school sucks and how they hate it and how they all feel pressure to not fail. Hence this episode's title, I guess.

Who Am I?: Mouth flings himself up the stairs and into the bathroom, locking the door behind him so he can be alone with his thoughts. Which, as it turns out, are somewhere along the lines of "Like I said, my mom and dad are real pricks."
