Bring on the Dancing Horses

After that snitfest is Bruce Block, the so-called magician. He comes on stage with an entire midget entourage. Seriously. Midgets. In entourage form. There's Turtle and Drama. And a nurse, a scientist, somebody with a clip board, and some midget muscle. Bruce is muttering something about sawing a horse in half. I'm too distracted by all the little people to pay attention to what he is saying. An obviously fake horse made up of costumed midgets in two pieces (head and ass) trots onstage. Piers buzzes. The fake horse moves into a box. Bruce announces that he will put the horse back together. Alakazam! The fake fuzzy horse disappears, and a real-life miniature pony and a plus-sized jockey appear in the box. And the trick is done. I think. It's all a bit confusing. I think it was a good trick, but what did the midget entourage have to do with it? Were they just there to distract us while the trick was performed? Was the trick that good that it needed that many midgets to divert our attentions? Or was it that bad? Piers thought it was the oldest trick in the book. Bruce is shocked: "You've seen this trick before?" Piers growls. He is grumpy. Sharon was confused. The Hoff was disappointed. I am sleepy, sneezy, happy, dopey, and Doc.
