The judges deliberate. Teyona is fabulous, fantastic, amazing, and finally looks like a model. Celia looks like a novice, and quite unnatural. Nigel says that the problem with Celia is that everything has to be rehearsed. On set, she looked rehearsed, which is no good. Miss J. thinks that girls like Celia always try to be sexy when they really can't be sexy. I think The Golden Girls disproved that way of thinking, J., so get with the times. Aminat also isn't natural, and needs tension in her body when she poses. "Tension" is the new "booty tooch." Fo looks like munch n' scrunch. I don't know what that is, but it's short. Paulina says that her photo is a disaster. Nigel adds that Fo doesn't know how to deliver her natural, beautiful self in a picture. Tyra says that a lot of models fall apart in front of top photographers, including herself. I don't see what this has to do with Nigel. Allison did a good job and worked the set. Cris likes Allison and her freshness. Nigel does an impression of Allison's rabbit face upon being told that she did a good job, which even makes Miss J. cackle. With that, the judges have reached a decision.
There are five beautiful ladies standing in front of Tyra, but she only has four photos in her hand. And the first photo, which is the best of the week, goes to Teyona. She must be getting tired of seeing herself as digital art. Allison is called next, followed by Aminat. This leaves Celia and Fo in the bottom two. Celia is old. Fo is short. And in this battle of the fatal flaws, Celia gets a photo and stays alive for one more week. A weeping Fo gives Tyra a big hug. Tyra tells her that she's very special and beautiful and has a lovely spirit, but her proportions photograph short. Tyra makes Fo promise not to grow her hair out or get a weave because her short hair, unlike her short body, is stunning. Fo makes a gracious exit. She interviews that this has been one of the most beautiful experiences of her life. She has newfound respect for herself, and can go home with a sense of purpose and hope that she can achieve her goals. Even though she's short. She's going to go back to school and get her diploma first, which I think is something we can all applaud. Let's hope she can talk her way into a college that needs to fill its little person quota.
Next week: Samba! And Tyra gets behind the lens to shoot her final four like prey.
