It's makeover day! The girls meet up with the Jays and stylist Laurent D. at the Prive salon and succumb with various degrees of whining to their fates. Brittani gets one of the most drastic makeovers as she goes from long hair to a blunt Louise Brooks bob (also known as the "short Dutch boy"). It looks great, if not particularly versatile. Several girls including Jaclyn, Monique, Mikaela, Kasia, Dalya, Hannah and Alexandria get relatively minimal changes. This does not, however, stop Alexandria from being a total nit at the salon and telling her weavologist everything that she's doing wrong. Even Jaclyn wants to yell at her. Poor Sara is praying for a long weave, since she's kind of sick of being androgynous. Instead she goes full-on baby dyke with short brown spikes. It's cute, but she's disappointed. Anything would be better than that rat tail, frankly. Dominique goes big and kinky red with matching eyebrows. At first she cries, but in the end she likes it even though it looks kind of whack.
And no mention of whackness could be complete without discussing Molly. Tyra's vision for Molly is a big, blonde Diana Ross mass of hair. Molly has flat, thin hair, and so a special weavologist comes in to work with her. Said weavologist is clearly Sheening, because Molly's hair is horrendous. Even Laurent D. has to get in on the action and try to fix up what he calls a "Twisted Sister" look. Miss J. suggests that they make it look halfway decent for the picture and then fix it afterwards, but poor Molly has to suffer through having this monstrosity on her head for the whole episode.
The girls head to a farm for their photo shoot with photographer Pamela Hanson and stylist Lori Goldstein. They wear fabulous couture gowns and pose in groups of two or three. Molly and Kasia shoot together and both wear hats, which helps with Molly's weave situation. They start awkward but get better. Alexandria is a pain in the ass on set, which does not go unnoticed. She shoots with Monique, who is also a ball of joy. Sara and Mikaela are paired up together and have no idea what they're doing. Mikaela has trouble keeping her eyes open, which should not be a surprise to anyone who has seen her face. Brittani and Hannah pose together, and though their end photo comes out well, they struggle throughout. Dominique, Dalya and Jaclyn are grouped for their photo, in which Dominique is the odd person out. This may have something to do with the fact that she's wearing hand-me-downs from Cee-Lo's Grammy performance. She admits to being blank in the brain when Mr. Jay asks what she's thinking, which is never a good thing.
At panel, Alexandria gets the best photo for the week, much to everyone's chagrin. She also gets an admonishment to stop being such a diva on set. No chicken storage lectures? Molly is runner-up, even with her bad weave, and as a reward will get new hair. Sara and Dominique land in the bottom two, and in the end Dominique's freckles can't save her and she is sent home.

Previously on America's Next Top Model: Alexandria and Dalya couldn't agree over raw chicken storage techniques. Jaclyn told us that she stays out of Alexandria's way, because she's scary. Two of Ondrei's brothers died, one quite recently, and she started to wonder if she was ready to be in the competition. Eventually, she decided to leave. However, Ondrei's photo (shot with a supporting cast of tens of bees) wasn't the worst of the bunch, and so old-looking Nicole got the boot as well. At least now we'll have an easier time remembering who Molly is. Eleven bitches remain!
The girls return to their abode after panel and Hannah is pleased to see her best-of-week photo displayed as digital art. Her gloating time, however, is short-lived as the girls' attention is drawn to a giant cord that says, "Pull Me." I think everyone would be totally okay with Alexandria falling down a giant rabbit hole right now. When pulled, a rolled-up projection screen-ish thing is released, and the girls see that it has phrases on it like, "Add a few gentle waves," "Longer, straighter, blonder!" and "Think Pocahontas." Pocahontas is like, "Can you please leave me out of this?" The girls quickly deduce that it's makeover time and try to guess who's going to get what. Sara, through a correct but Debbie Downer-esque instinct, states that she's certain the "manly, short brown spikes" makeover will be hers. She is not happy about this. Sara tells us that she's very androgynous, and enjoys that as part of her identity, but would sometimes like the option of being feminine. Well, then she shouldn't have shown up wearing a sports bra and rat tail. Sara confessionalizes, "Give me a weave!" Once she sees what happens to Molly, she may count her manly blessings.
Dominique tells us that she's still working on her confidence in her photo shoots. Having so many people on set (and Alexandria at home) offering critique is tough for her, and the negative comments in particular eat her alive. She's hoping that the new look will help her, and show that she's not just a blank canvas with freckles. Monique tells the others that she hopes she doesn't get the "Dutch boy" look. She confessionalizes in a whiny voice (whinier than normal, even!) that she really likes her hair and doesn't want to cut it. She pets it like a bunny while she says this and generally looks a little touched. It is really disappointing to me that Tyra didn't completely shave her. Jaclyn is hoping that she doesn't get the blonde hair, while Brittani is gunning for red.
