All Hail the Queen

When we return, Laura is still in the van to the hospital, and rightly worries that she's not going to be able to finish her Cover Girl commercial. Jay tells Sophie what's happening with Laura as she shows up to shoot her print ad. Sophie is of course concerned, but keeps her eyes on the prize and knows that she has to get a good shot. She is her usual delightful self, and Jez tells her that the whole thing was fabulous. Jay confirms that they're not going to be able to shoot Laura that day, and doesn't know if they'll be able to get a commercial at all.

We cut to the MGM penthouse, where Laura has returned home from the hospital. She Skypes her parents and tells them that she was diagnosed as having a panic attack. Laura had never had a panic attack before, and of course it was quite scary. She's feeling better now, though, and says that once she gets some sleep she's going to go back to kicking ass. In case you were wondering, her parents don't sound drunk on the phone. Sophie returns home and gives Laura a big hug. She relates to what Laura has gone through, given her own panic incident when she had to stand on the rim of the Macau Tower. Though Sophie remains competitive, she actually likes Laura and so wants her to come through this and get back to her normal, orgasm-obsessed self.

Soon, there is Tyra Mail: "Buongiorno bellisima! Fierce and love, Tyra." Laura wonders if they're going to Italy, and looks quite stressed about the possibility. Of course they are actually just going on their photo shoot for Vogue Italia! Stylist Valentina Serra is on hand along with the ubiquitous Jez Smith, and they tell the girls that the shoot will be a hyper-stylized spa inspired theme. The winner of the competition will have her photos published in the magazine. Laura is on a mission to show her modeling mettle, particularly after the panic attack incident. Sophie is first to shoot, and Valentina says that she has an elegant and sophisticated shape to her, though on set Jez tells her that she's being a bit too modelly. He notes that she struggled a bit, and this style of shoot -- involving underwear, I guess? -- was not particularly suited to her. Laura is next, and of course she's great at being half-naked. Valentina notes that she's perfect, like a dancer. She definitely prefers Laura to Sophie. Jez says that until today he would have chosen Sophie over Laura, but Laura has managed to tie things up with her strong performance in this shoot.

Back at the penthouse, Laura gets another chance to film her commercial lines. Because there's so much other footage that will be in the commercial, everything will likely fit together fine even with the change in setting. Laura is quite nervous, and even though she looks a bit wooden she finishes it all with no hints of a looming panic attack. Jay had started to wonder if she could handle the pressure of the competition and the fashion industry more generally, but now he believes she can push through anything.
