Melrose is next. She is wearing a very tiny sweatshirt. She is all giggly in her take. Denis says that it wasn't perfect Catalan, but that he felt like he could direct her. Twiggy says that even though she doesn't speak Spanish or Catalan, she felt like she could understand everything Melrose was saying, and that she loved the way Melrose linked with everyone, even the extras walking through the set. Melrose says that she stayed up an extra two hours before she went to bed, even though they only got four hours of sleep. There is a quick cut to Amanda and Eugena. Eugena kind of laughs, but Amanda looks pissed and crooked-faced. Tyra says that her favorite part was at the end, when Melrose was up and down on the guy's shoulder, because that's what girls in love do. I'll remember that the next time I'm in love.

Then there is Amanda, the girl made of wood. The judges laugh at her kiss, and Tyra demonstrates how awful it looks by pecking at Nigel. Nigel tells Amanda to go for it and commit. He says that she looked beautiful and graceful at the beginning of the commercial, and he and Twiggy agree that the camera loves Amanda. However, once she started stumbling over the language, she lost it. Tyra tells the girls that the judges will deliberate, and then announce who will go back to the U.S. of A.
