Hair and makeup commences, and the styling is very cool. But this is no comfort to Kiara, who definitively does not want to be inside a prison right now. As it turns out, Kiara was arrested for shoplifting when she was 18, and has never told anyone about it. Except, I'm guessing, the producers of this show prior to being cast. Kiara cries as she talks about being handcuffed and put in a police car after walking out of a store with a bracelet. She went through the whole booking process, and says that it was the all-time low of her life. See, stealing is bad, especially if you get caught.
Victoria is having her own set of problems, of course, but overcomes them by -- you guessed it! -- getting into character. She walks on set with a big, "Hey y'all," and talks to Johnny and Cobra Snake in an exaggerated southern accent about how unfair it is that she can no longer party and drink because she's in so much trouble. Laura is just happy that she didn't have to sit around and listen to the whole thing. Victoria is being booked for shoplifting, and I'm REALLY surprised that they didn't assign that particular crime to Kiara. Victoria tells us that being in character releases her mind and helps her calm down a little bit. And thus she goes really over the top, and starts yelling at Cobra Snake as he photographs her. Johnny equates this to Victoria "throwing up all over you," and says that she's out of control. As evidence, she spits on the floor. Kristin reiterates that Victoria is nuts, as if that is a thing that has been in question heretofore. Johnny says that Victoria's characters sometimes get a little too intense, and he has to guide her back to the actual photo shoot. He does so, and says that after their little talk she nailed it.
Laura is next, and apparently is being booked for speeding. She looks gorgeous with the hair and makeup and leather jacket, and talks about this week being redemption for her poor showing in the last episode. Perfect perfect blah blah perfect. Kristin is next, chomping on gum and blowing bubbles for her crime of just generally being too pretty all the time. However, she's having a bit of trouble chewing gum and keeping her eyes open, which turns out to be a problem. Then there's Brittany, who is tired of coming in second. Well, she'll certainly not have that problem to deal with at this week's panel! Since she also didn't book any go-sees, she feels extra pressure for this shoot. Her crime is indecent exposure, and Johnny coaches her to look a little more naughty in the eyes. He tells us that Brittany struggles with different looks, and even though she's beautiful he'd like to see her with a bit of edge. I think Brittany's edge will always be that of a butter knife, or maybe a soft blanket.
