Oh, hey Catie. Is that some spilt milk on the...well, here we go again. Her presentation goes pretty well and her pose is, according to Janice, "insane."
Mercedes cracks the panel up with a drag-queen joke about her dad, and he photo is, according to Nigel, "not grabbing." But Nolay defends her, saying that she was "a visual orgasm." They named the episode after that one lame-ass line? Was that in his contract? What about "The Girl Who Shopped 'Til She Dropped"? That's what I would have named it.
Yoanna breaks down in her presentation, and Janice deems the results of her photo shoot "the worst picture I've ever seen in my life." Eric piles on the well-honed snark with the line, "It looks a little bit like an adult ultrasound." ["Janice, when you get older, there's no shame in admitting that your eyes aren't what they used to be. Get glasses. That photo rocked." -- Wing Chun]
"Last year, I won the competition for America's Next Top Model," Camille lets us know. That one gets some looks around the panel, and Janice tells her she is "arrogant" and "pathological." But her picture is once again great, though she gets a parting shot of "insane" from Eric on her dismount.
Janice loves Sara. Eric loves April. New Jersey loves Xiomara. Shandi was "mortifying," according to Dr. Evil. Mercedes looks uncomfortable underwater, and Yoanna looks, according to Tyra "serene." Catie "can be a lot more edgy," according to Dr. Evil, and Tyra believes that this is not the place for Camille. Janice agrees, telling us in as straightforward a fashion as possible, "She turned me off. I mean, I'm gonna vote her out tonight."
SO WHAT HAPPENED? ["They don't have to reach unanimity, even when commuting a career death sentence?" -- Wing Chun] The ladies reconvene, and Tyra gets right to business. Sara, you're still in the running toward becoming America's Next Top Model. As are Mercedes, April, Yoanna, Catie, and Shanthrax. Xiomara and Camille step forward, and Tyra tells Camille that she has some trouble with authority. Xiomara is loved by the judges, but her photo shoots have not gone real well overall. Xiomara is out, and the world cries blood. And since it's so brilliant, we'll let the top models (or, in this case, the average ones) speak for themselves this week, because personality is what we've come to prize so much, right now above all else:
"Besides being born, this is the best thing that's ever happened to me."
