The stylist asks Nicole, who has no script in front of her, if she knows her stuff. She says that she does. Nicole interviews that, to her, Cover Girl is all about bringing out your inner beauty. This scripted crap is our first clue that she might be the winner. She knows she did well in her first commercial and thinks she can be a real Cover Girl and will do well. The girls go on set, where Sara Dunlop, the commercial director, tells them where to stand. The girls have to interact and flirt with two guys who look like they're drum majors in Liberace's marching band. Seriously, they are wearing the shiniest pastel Sergeant Pepper suits that the world has to offer. It's fucked up. Bre says that they're supposed to be playful with each other and point to non-existent things in the background. They do, and say "Cover Girl" in unison. They all look very pretty.
Next, each girl has to say her lines individually. Bre is first and notes that her shiny spangly skirt makes her look like Tina Turner. I would probably give at least a finger to hear Tina Turner say "And what are you doing, alcoholic bitch?" just one time. Bre does not rock the commercial shoot. She flubs her lines and looks kind of stressed. Jay tells her that, on the plus side, she looks flawless on the monitor. Bre tells Jay and the director to make her have a good commercial, because they'll send her black ass home if she doesn't. Jay is like, "Uh-huh," because he knows how it all goes down. Bre interviews that Jay is basically saying, "Sayonara, bitch! You're out of here." Good times. Nicole interviews that Bre flubbed her lines, and that Nik is making such a big deal out of the whole thing that she's psyching herself out.
