Jay tells Kayla that, having gone through something so horrible at such a young age without having a support structure around, she hasn't yet healed from it. There's still much work to be done. Jay also has apparently recommended therapy, and tells Kayla that she can't go through life declining jobs that entail physical contact with dudes. He emphatically says, "You have to deal with this." And possibly enter a profession that doesn't exploit sexuality in quite such a consistent way. Social workers rarely have to kiss random dudes! But clearly it's crucial for her to deal with this, and if she continues modeling she'll doubtlessly be in this situation some of the time. Kayla interviews that she let it all out, and that Jay had a way of bringing her back. She needs to get herself together so she can be everything she wants to be in modeling. Jay and Kayla hug, and then it's time to watch some girls-on-skates debacles.

Nigel walks through the commercial with all of the girls, who are already on skates. The more they wear them, the more they can fall for our amusement. It's very important for them to rock the last line, which they will say as they cling to their beefy male model lover. Kayla is continuing to have bad memories. She knows you're supposed to check your emotions at the door, but she's only human. And the fact that she's wearing a skimpy bathing suit bottom, vest, and roller skates can't be helping matters. Kayla forgets her first line right off the bat, but tells us that the purpose of being in this competition is to win, so she's got to put her past experiences out of her head and make it work. She starts again and does a pretty good job until she has to skate up and get close to the male model. Kayla looks nervous and forgets her line, while Jay looks on. Nigel feeds her the line and Kayla delivers it. She turns her head to the side so the male model kisses her neck, which is a little awkward but fine. Jay is impressed that Kayla put aside some painful memories and was able to deliver a believable performance.
