Connor crouches on a building's edge, looking over the city in a way that makes me want to quote Ben Edlund. Angel walks into the background and observes that the city is beautiful. Connor calmly replies, "The way it should be," and turns to look at Angel. "What, no hug?" Angel mugs. Connor tensely tells Angel to "get it over with," but they're suddenly joined by a small group of vampires. Angel laughs, and Connor laughs exactly the same way. I like to imagine them practicing that. "Hee hee hee!" "No, more menacing, like this: heh heh heh." "Hah hah hah?" "No, try again..." Sorry, I got distracted by that idea. Right, so they're laughing. One vamp asks what the joke is, and Angel says, "I'll tell you later." Punching, flipping, and vamp-tossing ensue. Connor saves Angel from a staking. By the way, they seem to have dropped the stop-motion effect from the fights. And all the fight scenes in this episode are visible and comprehensible and everything. See, guys, was that so hard? The fight ends, and Angel chuckles and grips Connor's shoulders in a friendly manner. And then snaps Connor's neck.
