At the MoG office, the phone rings. Is that someone from Sunnydale calling? Wesley, sitting right by the phone, picks up a pad and hands it to Cordy as she walks over to answer it. The hell? Wesley can't answer the damn phone? Cordy is wearing a ruffly blouse with stripes that bend at right angles, and I think it's designed to hypnotize enemies. Cordy is going through her "We help the helpless" spiel when the door opens and Angel walks in. Gunn wanders out from the back room as Cordy quickly says, "The check is in the mail," and hangs up. Angel squirms for a few seconds and then says, "I'm sorry." Wesley has recovered enough to use a cane now, so instead of Wesley the Wheeled One, I guess he's just Wesley the Tripod. He stands and hobbles toward Angel before declaring, "We've all discussed it and none of us are ready just yet to --" Angel interrupts by saying, "I don't want you to come back and work for me." Wesley calmly says, "I see." Angel says, "I want to work for you." The MoG are taken aback, and Angel explains, "'Cause I think I can help." Cordy sternly asks, "How do we know we can trust you?" Angel continues staring at Wesley as he says, "I guess I'll just have to earn that." Cordy says, "No." Gunn and Wesley look at her, a bit surprised. She repeats, "No!" only clutching her head this time so we know it's them darn visions again. Blurry demon-vert. Cordy recovers and barks, "The usual big scary. Rising up in a housing project in Topanga. And -- why is it that I'm not on the floor this time?" The camera pulls back to reveal that Angel is behind her, holding her up. "I've got you," he explains. Cordy looks around at Angel, then turns back to Wesley and says, "Maybe he should drive?" Well, yeah, maybe, since the car belongs to him. Wesley smirkingly says, "Let's go," and they all head for the door as we fade out.
