In the cheering session, Angel wonders why Connor is talking to Sahjhan. "I told him not to talk to him!"
Sahjhan edges around the table and asks how Connor enjoyed Quor-toth. Connor, somewhat bewildered, says, "It worked out great, thanks for asking." Sahjhan looks into the urn as he says, "I thought you'd be a lot more...intimidating." Connor replies, "I figured I was going to Tony Roma's with my folks tonight, but I'm here. Learn to cope." Sahjhan says he'll try, and suddenly hurls the urn at Connor, bonking him in the head. Connor falls, and Angel tries to rush into the room but can't break through one of those magic force-field things that are so popular these days. Angel turns to look at Vail, who says, "Sorry. Not your fight."
Connor gets up, wiping his jaw, and whines, "Ow! God, that really hurt!" Sahjhan apologizes, and asks if Connor wants a time-out. Connor says no, and Sahjhan lunges at him. Connor gets a punch in, but is quickly knocked down again.
Angel tells Vail to open the door. Vail holds up the glowy box o' doom and asks, "Or you'll what?" He tells Angel that Connor has to grow up sooner or later.
Connor has gotten up again, rather unsteadily. Sahjhan punches him repeatedly.
Vail keeps on taunting Angel with the box o' doom and says, "There's no need to bring back the past if we don't have to."
Connor gets in one punch before Sahjhan knocks him to the floor again. Sahjhan says, "I went to a lot of trouble to get rid of you. What a colossal waste of time that turned out to be." He kicks Connor across the room.
Angel turns to tell Vail to open the door again, but stops when he sees that Vail is standing, frozen, without the box o' doom in his hand. Wesley says, "You changed the world." Angel turns to see Wesley and Illyria standing in the doorway. Wesley is now holding the glowy box o' doom. And looking pissy. Well, pissier. Wesley says, "You sold us out to Wolfram & Hart." Angel, not really listening, tells Wesley to be careful with the glowy box. Wesley raises the box and asks, "Is this your thirty pieces of silver?" Shut up, Wesley. Angel moves closer and tells Wesley to give him the box. Illyria knocks Angel across the room and sniffs, "He doesn't follow you any longer."
