We return to a mega-ultra-blipvert. It starts with Angel holding baby Connor, Angel handing Connor to Wesley, "The father will kill the son" on the notepad, and we gradually speed up through a montage of throat-slitting, portal-hopping, pillow-smothering, Angel-sinking, yuckiness, and...well, Season 4. It's a cool montage and all, but I'm not going to spend an hour identifying every scene. Okay, I might have made Johanna listen to me while I looked at it and identified them, but I didn't have to do all the links then. It winds up with a lingering shot of Connor from "Home," with Angel standing in the background. Sniff. And then there's a giant eyeball, yikes! Sauron? Oh, it's Wesley. Wesley looks appropriately horrified. I wait for him to say, "Whoops." Or for Angel to say, "Happy now?" Sadly, neither of those things happens. Angel does look at Wesley rather sympathetically for a moment before gasping, "Connor!" and jumping up to check on his son.

Sahjhan is now choking Connor, who's still lying on the table. Then Connor suddenly grabs Sahjhan's neck, and throws Sahjhan over the table. Yay! Sahjhan and Connor both get up, and Connor's hair is now mussed from the fight, which is good because it makes him look less preppy, but it's a little vexing because it's almost covering his eyes. You can still see enough to tell that he looks plenty pissed off, though. And not in a preppy way. Sahjhan sneers, "Lucky shot." Connor smiles dangerously and does a cool roll over the table, grabbing an axe on the way. Sahjhan tries to grab the axe, but Connor kicks him, and there's more fighting, but now Connor's a lot more effective. Connor swings around, sinks the axe into Sahjhan's gut and, while Sahjhan is recovering from the blow, swings again and cuts off Sahjhan's head. The fake head is about as convincing as usual, but I do like how Sahjhan's arms keep twitching as his body falls to the floor.
