Oliver has gone straight to Frank Bertinelli's house, which is interestingly direct. Bertinelli has a giant house, but obviously not as big as Oliver's castle. Bertinelli introduces him to Nick Cilvati, his large, menacing "associate." The mysterious woman from before walks past the staircase.
Back at the castle, Thea and Moira make fun of television (who would do such a thing?), then Thea complains about Oliver. She asks if Moira isn't getting sick of Oliver's lies and Moira vaguely claims that everyone has secrets. Thea says -- for the second time this episode -- that she "just doesn't get" Oliver. Moira says it's easy to forget that Oliver lived apart from civilization for five years. (It's actually not all that easy, since the show keeps reminding us!) Moira says they should start accepting him for the Oliver he is.
Back at the Bertinelli house, Frank Bertinelli says that he heard in the mainstream media that Oliver was going to stay away from his family's business. Oliver makes a joke about how he'd never heard the phrase "mainstream media" before, although Google Ngrams suggests that the phrase became popular somewhat before 2007. Bertinelli wants the contract to build the Q Consolidated new Applied Sciences building. That's what the mob does now? Build laboratories? He says that Mr. Copani was a good friend and a good man. They commiserate about the violence in the city. The mystery woman comes in, speaking Italian. Her name is Helena and she's Frank's daughter! She's here to tell him that she's going out and he insists that she bring along a bodyguard. You know, just like how Oliver kept having to bring a bodyguard along in the first few episodes.
And then the associate (Nick Cilvati) comes in to say that Frank can have a meeting he requested, but it has to be right now. Oliver offers to come back later, but Frank assures him that it'll only take a minute.
In the living room, Helena sneers to Frank about Oliver Queen being like the rich man's Lindsay Lohan. That's not a great reference, since Lindsay had talent at one point and earned her fame. Also, everyone involved is super-rich, which messes with the "rich man" part. Frank asks her to take Oliver out to dinner because he'll be busy. Oliver wanders in, so Frank tells him that "something has come up." And that's weird, because Oliver was in the room when it came up. Oliver claims that he really wanted to have the meeting, which is also weird. Because seconds ago, he said he didn't mind. Anyway, Helena will be going to dinner with Oliver, but it's okay because she speaks for the family.
