Falk tells Gavin he has ten minutes to plead for his life. He sets his watch in front of the camera.
Somewhere entirely different! Moira meets Frank (the one from the Undertaking, not Frank Bertinelli) on the roof of a building. She says that Malcolm came to Moira to tell her to investigate the attempt on his life. That was awhile ago, wasn't it? Frank paid the Triad for the attempt, but he says the money was funneled through an offshore account. He's sending his wife out of the country to keep her safe. Moira says she'll do anything to keep her family safe.p>CNRI. Laurel looks up a Department of Immigration website (for China, I believe) and brushes off Thea. Then she feels bad and asks what Thea wants. Thea asks what her recommendation is for someone dating a bad boy, since Laurel dated Oliver for years. She suggests running away. And then she has a call from the Chinese embassy. Here's Laurel's end of the call: "You did. Really? And you're sure that she's in the States now? Do you happen to have an address on her?" That about covers it, I guess.
Felicity types quickly, which in television terms proves that she's a hacker. She can't break all the way in (whatever that means), but she can get an address that the video's broadcasting from: 23rd and Mira. Oliver declines to put on the hood (because "It's the middle of the day!") and roars out on his motorcycle.
Carnahan's reason for not prosecuting the slumlord is that he had fifty-three cases to deal with. Falk is not impressed. Oliver pulls up to the building and runs in without his helmet. He breaks a glass door and starts kicking down doors. There are seven floors apparently, so he's got a lot of doors to kick in. He finds himself on the roof and shouts at Felicity that he's checked every room. Felicity says the broadcast has moved, so Oliver jumps from building to building. He goes across some pretty wide alleys this way. Falk continues to beg for his life, while Oliver parkours down a fire escape and jumps onto a grey van that's going in the right direction. Falk sentences Gavin to death. Felicity is baffled by the changing addresses and Oliver shouts at her. Bang! Well, never mind. Carnahan's dead. Felicity pulls off her earpiece and abandons her post.
Oliver returns to the Arrowlair. Felicity is brooding because she sent Oliver to the wrong location. And she's never seen anybody die. Oliver says, "This is the thing with what we do. Sometimes we lose." Felicity somehow connects this to romance, saying that she doesn't know what she'd tell a hypothetical boyfriend about her day. This is because there's a subplot about how Oliver doesn't want to have a girlfriend because he's sad about McKenna being shot by Helena.
