The island. Oliver is somehow still in the soldier outfit as they show him the cages. Then he gets whopped over the head, because he's obviously not a real soldier. Or a ninja.
Malcolm, Tommy and Laurel are at dinner. Malcolm tells a story about how Tommy once wanted a puppy that he could name "Arthur" because he's a "Merlyn." Aren't Tommy and Laurel super-close friends since childhood? She should know all this already. Anyway, the only reason this scene exists is so that we can learn that Malcolm's mother was killed before Laurel and Tommy became friends.
Felicity Smoak! She's in a server room full of blinking lights. Oliver tells her there's a scavenger hunt he's on and he gives her the security fob. A scavenger hunt? I kind of enjoy how lame his excuses are. He promises her some of the expensive wine he intends to win and she accepts this as somehow making sense. The fob is "PIN protected" and she says there's a military-grade cryptographic security protocol. Oliver claims that the idle rich are hard to entertain.
Now that their dinner's over, Malcolm wants Tommy to sign some papers to shut down his mother's free clinic. Tommy's hurt that the dinner wasn't about getting to know Laurel. Malcolm tells Laurel that Tommy's other taught him the world is a brutal place. I don't understand why Malcolm would need Tommy to sign off on closing the clinic.
Blackhawk. Oliver grills Ted about Paul, and Ted says jobs are hard to come by. Knox would be out there knocking over liquor stores or robbing banks if it weren't for Ted hiring him.
Felicity calls Oliver and tells him there's nothing about a scavenger hunt on the fob. There's stuff about robbing armored cars with grenade launchers, though. Don't keep that on your work computer, guys! And don't include pictures of the grenade launchers. That's just dumb. Why would you need that? You know what grenade launchers look like. The maps of armored car routes are useful, though. And there's a schedule suggesting that the next robbery is being done tonight! Oliver super-clenches as Felicity tells him she wants to send the information to the police. He has her send the information directly to him instead. And makes no mention of her promised valuable wine. Man, you should be taking care of Felicity. She's got your back.
An armored car! SUVs! But the grenade launcher gets hit by an arrow! They all have machine guns and fire them off indiscriminately, but Oliver never gets hit because he's the hero. He shoots one of the bad guys, but he doesn't kill him. He has to use a garbage can lid to protect himself from a grenade and the criminals get away.
