At the Bertinelli house, the television news (WEBG, Channel 7) reports that Anthony was arrested. And "the Starling City vigilante" was seen leaving the scene with an unknown accomplice. Helena consoles her father, who says she looks beautiful. He is pleased that she looks happy. She doesn't, really. She doesn't have much of an expression at all. As she leaves, his phone rings. He shouts that he knows "where that leaves us." It's hard out here for a mobster.
Moira is rushing out for a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Starling City Modern Art Museum. I bet that place gets robbed all the time! You know how supervillains like to steal giant eggs and so on. As soon as she's gone, Walter goes through her makeup table and anything else he can find. He looks at a photo of the two of them and then notices a clock. You know, they really have an enormous house. It would take forever to search it. Anyway, there's a box in the clock and a book in the box. And the book has the mysterious sigil but is otherwise blank. So he's much better at searching than I would have guessed.
Tommy and Laurel have been waiting for thirty minutes at what must be Table Salt. He asks the maître d' for quick access, but he fails to bribe her so he doesn't get to go to his table. But there's a twist: Oliver and Helena are there! Oliver's table is ready and Helena offers to let Tommy and Laurel join them. Oliver objects, but Helena insists. It's a good thing they were being seated at a four-person table, I guess.
At their table, Oliver reminisces about Tommy filling his father's pool with beer. Helena seems a little uncomfortable when she realizes that Tommy, Oliver, and Laurel are old friends. Laurel says they've known each other since -- and Oliver interrupts to say it's been forever. Oliver claims that he's been too busy to work on the club. Laurel tries to force Tommy to talk to Oliver about asking for work, but he resists. Helena realizes that Laurel was with Oliver and now she's with his best friend. It's like she's the only one who realizes how weird that is. Tommy points out that they'd be good reality show fodder. Helena swigs some wine. After some prompting by Laurel, Oliver offers that Tommy working for him could be "fun," and Tommy leaves. Laurel runs after him. He's mad at her for trying to get Oliver to help. He also thinks Laurel's dislike of Helena means that she's still in love with Oliver. But mostly, he refuses to be Oliver's charity case.
