Frank Bertinelli also gets the word, so he tells his contact to tell everyone to "strap up."
China White kills one of Frank's bodyguards from behind. Then she tells her goons (who appear to have been right in front of him) to leave no one alive. They kill several Bertinelli goons and enter the house. So... the war between the Triads and the Mob doesn't involve any innocent bystanders being hurt? It's just the Triad going directly to Frank's house and killing people who are directly associated with the Mob? This seems fine, actually. Oliver, however, disagrees. Because as one Triad goon runs up the stairs, Oliver shoots him in the chest. Way to kill a guy, Mr. No-Kill.
China White kills people as she moves through Frank's house. Frank gets a laptop out of a safe and puts it in a suitcase. As China's about to kill him, Oliver shoots the knife out of her hand and hits her in the leg. He tells Frank to run. No idea why, but there you go: Oliver is willing to kill Triad goons in order to protect the head of the mob.
Frank shoots his way out. Then Helena crossbows him in the calf. She explains that it's payback for Michael (her fiancé). He protests that he did it for the family. She answers, "I had to take everything away from you because you took everything away from me. You finally know what it feels like to find out your own blood is responsible for the death of your entire world." Oliver shoots the crossbow out of her hand and they fight. Frank rolls over to the crossbow and shoots Helena in the shoulder, so Oliver punches him and carries her off.
Oliver has taken Helena to the Arrowlair. She asks why he'd save Frank, which I also wonder about. Oliver says, "I didn't save him. I saved you." That explains why he saved Frank outside, but not why he kept China White from killing him. He lectures her about how she doesn't know about the psychic toll killing puts on you. Luckily, that laptop had all the evidence the police need. I guess it's a good thing Frank made sure to carry it with him. And not encrypt the information in any way.
Oliver tells Helena, "This is justice." She answers, "Then I guess you were right. I'm more interested in revenge." Ha! She starts to leave, warning that he should stay out of her way or she'll reveal his identity. He promises that he cares about her, but it's not reciprocated.
Diggle finds Oliver at Big Belly Burger, eating chili cheese fries. Diggle says that love isn't about changing or saving people. And when he finds the right woman, he'll be ready.
