Elsewhere, the still nameless Not-Zac Efron lurks around expositing with golden boy Cole while Marissa and the long-haired model butt heads on set. Not-Zac says things have been a little dry for him lately. The Vivienne Westwood knockoff designer comes over and reminds us how well Cole is doing. She asks what Not-Zac is doing on set, and he introduces himself to her as Isaac and says she mentioned possibly having work for him. She brusquely sends him off to her dressing room to put on a D&G suit. She calls him a "type," whatever that means. (Is it code for Black?) Cole says he was the in-demand child model 10 years ago but hasn't crossed over as an adult. Vivienne condescends that she loves a good cause.
Marissa and long-hair continue their horseplay on set while Vivienne stalks cougar-like into her dressing room. She notes how well the suit fits Isaac and says he should consider it his. He gawps at the price. She tells him he can wear it when he's escorting her to Claudia's party that night. He fills her in on his former splendor as a child model, including his three-year Ralph Lauren exclusive. She tells him he could use someone like her in his corner, as long as he'll attend to some of her interests (read: privates) in return. He tells her he just wants paying work because modeling is just his gateway into making it big as a musician. She smirks at him with disdain and tells him that, in that case, she has no work for him.
Down among the brownstones, Raina and Chris walk together to a casting where Chris has told his parents to meet him. He tells Raina he can't believe how quickly he's been swept up into this world. She welcomes him to New York like an old pro. Chris's family pulls up in a cab. Out piles Lil' Sis, who's gobsmacked that Chris spent the whole day with a supermodel. Raina blushes that she's only been modeling for a few months. Chris gives her a hug and Pa, who suddenly sounds either Australian or Pennsylvania Dutch, tells Chris to bid goodbye to the heady modeling world. Chris tells Pa he's staying. Pa starts to go off, but Ma nips it in the bud. Pa goes to grab Chris's bag, and Ma hands him a wad of cash. Less kindly, Pa tells Chris he's got two weeks before he's cut off from the family manure farm. It's a tough market, shit piling.
