At the apartment, the Johnny Cash version of "Hurt" plays and George and Annie stare at Mitchell, who is just slumped moodily next to the couch. George says it must be hard for predators like him to keep themselves in check constantly, and not just once a month. Annie wonders if Mitchell should have saved Becca, and George says that he actually did. George proposes that they all go out to a pub, but Annie freaks out. She likes to stay in the house, because there are monsters outside. Um, she's living with a vampire and a werewolf, but whatever. She says that inside no one can touch them. She brings Mitchell a cup of tea. George does laundry, and from outside, we can see the mysterious man from the woods before staring at him through the window. Creepy.
All in all, a promising start. I wish there had been more establishing of the "rules" of these particular creatures... like how often George changes. Is it every night of the full moon, or just one? Why don't the vampires have issues with the sun? If so, what could kill them? Can Annie leave the house if she wants to, or is she confined there? Inquiring minds want to know. Hopefully... all will be revealed in due time.
