Spencer goes to visit Judd in the HoH room. Howard, GinaMarie and Kaitlin are also in there, so Spencer figures the time is right. He speculates that Elissa has the MVP and plans to nominate Howard. They talk about how Helen, Amanda, Elissa and McCrae are running the house, and how those of them here in the room are all on the outside looking in. Howard talks about how they can wrest power away with superior numbers, like in A Bug's Life. Spencer DRs about what a ridiculous analogy it is, but it's working so he's happy. They're all in.
Andy, Helen, Candice and Jessie hang out in one of the other rooms talking about Elissa's failure to be MVP. Helen floats her 100% correct theory that America is the MVP and will vote on the third nominee. She's even figured out that America's nominee would be the highest vote-getter not already nominated. All of this makes every one of them nervous.
Everyone convenes in the living room to find out the third nominee. Judd reads the usual card, which says nothing about who the MVP is. After the "suspenseful" animation sequence, the third nominee is… Elissa. Oh, fickle, fickle America. Or else voters are conditioned to vote "Elissa" no matter what. If she ever runs for president we're screwed. She goes over to sit next to Aaryn and Kaitlin on the nominee couch. Candice DRs that something weird is going on and Elissa DRs that she felt betrayed by the houseguests. Imagine how betrayed she'd feel if she knew who was really behind it.
Howard and Kaitlin also express their shock in the DR, and back in the living room, Judd mush-mouths that it's time to pick the other players. The three nominees join him at the front of the room, and his randomly selected choices are Helen (who resolves to win the Veto and save Elissa) and McCrae. He also chooses Andy as the host for the PoV competition, which as always is one of the biggest thrills of the week for these people. Aaryn says that Elissa's nomination is bad for her, because everyone's going to think that she, Aaryn, is the MVP and thus make her an even bigger target.
After that's over, Amanda and Candice go to comfort Elissa, who suspects either Aaryn, Kaitlin or GinaMarie as the MVP. GinaMarie gives Elissa a hug from behind, and Elissa recoils from her, telling her to stop. "I'm trying to be nice, Elissa, what's going on?" GinaMarie asks in confusion. After Elissa, Helen and Candice retreat to a bedroom to discuss, GinaMarie comes into ask if Elissa's mad at her. "You put me up," Elissa accuses. GinaMarie swears on her life and on a handy Bible that she neither got MVP nor nominated Elissa, and she doesn't know anything about Aaryn or Kaitlin having done so either. Elissa tells Candice that she actually wants to go home. GinaMarie tries to commiserate, only to be left standing there while Candice leads Elissa out of the room. Candice tells Elissa that Rachel would fight and she has to as well. After all, Rachel won the whole game, right? Well, on half of her attempts.
