In that "Last Words" meeting of the week, Autumn and Kent get to talk up their fellow houseguests. Autumn calls this experience "an incredible journey," and then I vomit all over myself. She then says some stuff about being a good person and a good mother and so on and so forth. Kent says everyone ought to vote their conscience and their strategy, and that’s that. No long speech, thank God. Kent tells the camera that he’s getting the boot for sure, because Autumn isn’t a threat to take the cash. She may not be a threat, Kent, but she’s sure irritating.
Thursday finally rolls around, and with it an extensive recap of this past week’s highlights. Julie Chen is wearing really cute shoes as she reminds us that Kent and Autumn have been nominated for eviction, and that, later, a new Head of Household will replace Krista.
Mike gets to share his opinions about Kent and Autumn with the audience for what feels like an hour. He says Kent is too grumpy for him. He says he hates Kent’s accent. He says Kent might be sent back to Tennessee. As for Autumn, he says he’ll give her credit for one thing, and one thing only: "She knows when to keep her mouth shut." And everyone knows that women are most valuable when they keep silent and let the menfolk tell them what to do and how to act.
Speaking of Autumn, she’s sitting, pensive and alone, at the patio table with a cup of coffee. She voice-overs that she’s preparing herself to leave, but also simultaneously gearing up to stay in the house. "The hang time is really stressful," she admits.
In the Hot Box, Hardy sprawls on his bed and reminds Autumn that "it’s only going to get harder" to live in the house. He says that, because he doesn’t think she can handle the pressure, he’s going to vote to evict her. She tells him that she doesn’t want to be voted out by her own friends. Hardy sort of shrugs and asks what would be an acceptable reason to vote her out of house. "If you didn’t like me," she replies. Hardy shrugs again.
Nicole spends a hundred years agonizing over her vote, pacing, wringing her hands, pulling on her hair, and crying. She tells Kent that she thinks Chill Town is trying to get her to join them. Kent has no reaction to this.
Nicole scampers over to the Dark Side, albeit briefly, to tell Mike, Will, and Shannon that she knows at least three people are voting for Autumn to be evicted, but that she’s still considering things. She doesn’t tell them that being the swing vote is driving her insane.
