Back from commercials, Julie talks about the campaigning that Erika and Diane have been doing, and then says they've been taking different approaches. In the backyard, Marcellas breaks it to Diane that he promised Erika his vote before the veto even happened. Diane is frustrated that everyone promised votes before they knew who'd be up. She swears in the DR that she's not giving up. She says that if she stays, "all hell's going to hit the fan, and Janelle's going to be the fan." That is not very convincing bad-assery, dear. You need to stop letting Tina Fey write your dialogue without making sure you know whose side she's on. As this conversation is ongoing, Erika comes and sits down. And then Diane chats with Danielle, who says her vote is also promised to Erika. And then Erika shows up yet again and sits herself down. Diane complains in the DR that every time she tries to talk to anyone, Erika shows up. Duh. I've always wondered why people don't do that more, especially on Survivor. I'd be a damn stalker if it were me. Follow everyone wherever they go. No private conversations. Going to the bathroom? Me too!

Mike and Danielle talk in the gym, and he breaks the news to her that he, too, promised to vote out Diane in return for Will's safety. Danielle DRs that she would sort of like to keep Diane just to annoy Janelle, but she's not sure if she can do it. Mike just thinks that it's a bad idea to get something you want and then immediately do what you said you wouldn't.

James and Danielle talk in the backyard as he suns himself. I swear, the fact that I've never seen a single person putting on sunscreen, even casually, just freaks me out. These people are spending half the summer outside in the broiling sun, and I never see them do a thing about it. They're all going to be raisins. Anyway, they talk about how Will is happy to break his word about voting out Diane, but Mike isn't, so much. James says that he doesn't care about his word anymore, because Janelle screwed him. He DRs that he wants to keep Diane to send a message to Janelle. Later, James and Will talk, and James talks about how Mike's vote is secured to Erika...but only sort of. Will insists in the DR that he and Mike are like an "organism" (yuck), and that if he has an argument about why someone should stay, Mike's going to listen to it and be at least open-minded. Will wants to know why James would want to get rid of Erika, and James says it's basically to fuck with Janelle.
