Jessie calls the nomination ceremony. With little fanfare, the nominees turn out to be Dan and Steven. In front of everyone, Jessie says that these two have shown themselves to be against him, and he adds to Steven that he didn't come up to the HoH room, which Jessie considers "disrespectful." Steven makes a lame excuse about being asleep at the time, even though everyone saw him puttering around in the kitchen live. Just own it, Steven. Still, rather than calling him on the lie, Jessie says it took Steven nearly 24 hours to come and pay his respects. Man, look out for Jessie's "You Have Offended Me" clock, everyone.
"Jessie is a tool, in all senses of the word," Steven DRs, astutely saying that Jessie is not only toolish, but is being used as a tool by other players. Dan isn't surprised, but he isn't giving up either. Renny: "Yayyy!" She actually thinks she was passed over for nomination thanks to her "strategy," which was basically to stop being such a pain in the ass. That doesn't seem like it would be something you could consider a "strategy," but then on the other hand I'm always amazed at how few players in this game employ it. Jessie congratulates himself on his nominations, saying he wants Dan in his alliance and Steven out of the house. He even congratulates himself on his strategy. The very last shot, right at the end of the credits, is Jessie noisily sticking a bicep into a camera in the DR room and then bragging, "Couldn't even get all eighteen inches of that in that camera." How can someone that concerned with how he looks be so oblivious to how he looks?
