Since nobody's trying to beat anyone else, everyone works together. James and Chelsia, playing for beverages and snacks for the house, come within a couple of pounds. Sheila isn't thrilled to be outed as a 131-pounder ("I think those hats weigh fifteen pounds," she protests in the DR), but they're happy to have their asparagus load come in within ten pounds of Sheila's weight, meaning that the house gets fruits and veggies for the week. Matt and Natalie come up seventeen pounds short, so there are no carbs, and the feast they could have won is off the table. So to speak. So it's down to Ryan and Allison for meats and cheeses. The big scale wiggles around to give some suspense, but they made it, thanks to a double handful of stalks Ryan stuck in the crate in the last seconds of the challenge. Cue the asparagus-fight! Chelsia DRs that after all the tension in the house lately, throwing fresh produce at each other was just what they needed. Meanwhile, Los Angeles County food shelves are watching this going, "WTF?"
Joshuah sits for a portrait, which Natalie is trying to execute with nail polish on a paper towel. She makes him look like a catatonic drag queen, but he loves it anyway. Way to suck up to the HoH.
Allison goes the opposite direction, however, going in to the kitchen to start an argument with him. Which is pretty much about how ugly and uneducated and poor the other is. Finally, Allison asks Joshuah what pissed him off so much yesterday, and he refuses to get into it with her, retreating to the HoH room instead.
Where Sharon tells Joshuah to call a meeting of the whole house, except for Allison and Ryan. "Be discreet," Sharon advises. Joshuah is not discreet. But he gets the other three couples up there, and they're only too happy to agree that Ryan and Allison should be nominated this week. So who else? Meanwhile, downstairs, Ryan is blaming Allison for the situation. Allison claims that she could flip Joshuah back if she wanted to. Ryan doesn't see it, so Allison decides to give it a try. Probably more to prove Ryan wrong than anything else.
Later, Allison goes up the HoH room alone to apologize and ask what's up with Josh. He finally says that he's hurt that she pretended to be gay so that they could "all be gay together." Allison is clueless enough to be surprised by this, but she seems to get it. Or pretends to, at least. She starts going into her apology, but Joshuah is already tuning her out. He DRs that she's "groveling to the gods," (where gods=Joshuah), but that they're not friends. And so we go to commercial with a big fake hug between the two of them.
