Farewell messages. Kevin openly mocks him, "Hee hee hee hee, Ronnie, you got booted!" He rubs salt in Ronnie's wound for not lasting as long as the people Ronnie considered stupid. Jessie thanks him for his loyalty (giving no sign that he or anyone else will go after Michele, as Ronnie threatened her they would), and Russell says getting rid of him was strategic and he won't miss him. Chima tells him he's an awesome guy, and she'll get Russell if she can. Like Chima liked Michele to begin with. Michele: "Ronnie! I hate you! You lied to me, you manipulated me, backstabbed me, over and over. Get the heck out the door, you dork!" Ronnie takes that as vindication that he was right about Michele. So long, Ronnie. I'll miss you less then Russell will.

Time for the HoH competition. Julie sets it up by telling us that apparently people have been recording messages of advice to the houseguests. Which those houseguests got to hear, when Kevin spotted a button in the backyard and ran over to press it. That starts a playback of some unsolicited analysis of the game from viewers, heard over speakers throughout the house, pretty much constantly. Jordan gives a surprisingly cogent analysis of the situation: "Who has time for this?" I need to start considering the possibility that Jordan is a stealth genius.

As for the HoH competition itself, it's a standard game-show configuration in the backyard, with the eight houseguests (except of course for outgoing HoH Russell) in narrow cubicles. They'll have to answer true/false questions about what the recorded messages said. In the first round, Lydia and Michele are both eliminated. A trick question in the third round eliminates Jessie, and he stomps off. Jeff and Jordan both get the next question wrong about someone saying people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, they should eat tuna. Whatever the fuck that meant. That leaves Kevin, Chima, and Natalie, and Chima is the only one to get the last question right. Russell hands over the HoH medal to Chima, suddenly looking rather overdressed now that he's just another houseguest again.
