When Gerry Met Salad...

Speaking of the rat boy, he is now wearing his bandanna sort of diaper-style and floppy on his head, presumably in order to reduce his pulsating sex appeal and fight off the screaming herds of teenage girls who were so anxious to throw away their pictures of Prince William and order eight-by-ten glossies of his mug after his debut last week. In a continuation of his anti-Lori conversation with Gerry, he insists that Lori is "playing people." He pauses. "I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I'm telling you." In the diary room, Gerry fires up for his one good line of the week: "The more forceful Josh is, the more earnest he is...the less I believe him." Right on, there, Captain Follicle. Gerry tells Josh that he likes Lori, but that he'll vote her out if the "cartel" wants him to.

Lori talks to Gerry about how "sucky" it felt to be nominated. He assures her that he's doing everything he can to make sure she's not booted. And then he yells, "Color! Color! Color!" and paints a fake tile pattern on the floor. Okay, he doesn't. He does, however, lament in the diary room that he has to be careful he's not "entangled in too many webs." I am so bored already with Gerry's delusions of Richard-Hatch-esque grandeur that I cannot even express it adequately using words that are part of my vocabulary. You'd have to see the face I'm making.

Marcellas and Danielle play cards. She asks him if he'll be able to be happy if he stays in the house, and points out that everyone seems to be bugging the hell out of him. He agrees, saying he's still particularly irked at Lisa, who was one of the few people he thought he was getting along with until she nominated him. Interestingly enough, that's sort of what Lisa said at the nominations -- that she liked Marcellas, but didn't think he'd connected with much of anybody else. Dani suggests to Marcellas that the explanation for Lisa's behavior may partly be that "people are influenced by other people." She gives him a meaningful wink. God, let's hope this is the beginning of some kind of offensive by Danielle against Josh. Because if there isn't an offensive against Josh soon, I'm going to have to at least buy some foam darts that won't damage my TV.
