Nicki is on the phone with somebody at a credit agency, with all of her statements collected and filed in a couple of envelope boxes, hopefully finally getting herself somewhat together. Barb brings in a child -- it's Wayne -- whose face is covered in Margene's lipstick. (Aww, just like Ben used to!) Again. He tells Nicki that Shrek is over, and has been over a long while, and proudly compares himself to a television clown. Why did he have to go all the way to...well, I guess Margene's the only one with lipstick. Huh. That makes sense, actually. Sorry. So Barb mentions that he also drew all over the walls, and Nicki sends him to time out, and Barb yells at her about leaving him unsupervised. Frankly, the stuff that child gets up to every week, I think she should just have him fitted for a straitjacket, or chain him up in the yard. He gets into more trouble than all of Barb's kids put together. Nicki smarts off to her about giving her parenting advice, ignoring the obvious ways in which that sarcasm falls flat, and Barb notices that Nicki is being pretty short-fused and nasty, even for Nicki. She presses, but Nicki finally changes the subject/"confesses" that the problem is Neighbor Pam. She says that Pam sent missionaries to her house that morning, and Barb protests that missionaries often just show up. She doesn't point out that this is basically their entire job, but either way Nicki's not having it, because she has a true feeling that they were aimed directly at her by forces called Pam. "I just think it's dangerous, that's all," says Nicki, as Barb spots the boxes of paperwork shoved under Nicki's bed.
