So, on to Barb's phone call. It's Joey, telling her that Wanda's being released from the mental hospital tomorrow. That's the good news. The bad news is that thanks to Barb lobbying Bill on Joey's behalf, Joey's in Idaho now on the job that Bill gave him. That means he needs Barb to pick up Wanda and bring her home. That is to say, Wanda's home. On the compound. Barb is fairly reluctant, given her feelings about the compound and the fact that she's never been there without Bill. But Joey's crushed-puppy response is too much for her, so she sacks up and promises to do it without talking to Bill first. Because that worked out so well last time.
