Ben's in his room, with scary-sounding music on his stereo, a straight edge website up on his laptop, and a bunch of tattoos doodled in ink on his notebook, to go with the one he's currently drawing on the back of his hand. Sarah comes in without knocking, and says she saw him with Brynn. And she's kind of upset about it. "Remember Sunday School, when they said it was better to see your sons and daughters come home in wooden boxes than to have them give up their chastity?" Yeah, hard to believe that didn't work. She admits that she doesn't think Ben's going to Hell, but she's not their parents. She tells him to be careful and leaves. Ben gets right on his phone to call Jason and says he wants to come along tonight after all. Jason gives him a lecture over the phone about not just tagging along, then instructs him, "No crayon colors or school t-shirts. No one finds out where we're from." Well, this all sounds perfectly above board.

Nicki walks into Roman's office without knocking. Roman's in his white suit now. Seeing that Nicki's a lot more upset than when she came in yesterday, he actually pays her enough attention to compliment her on how she looks in her white dress. Nicki comes right out and asks, "Did you do it?" Roman sits back and seriously asks Nicki who told her that. Nicki tearfully says they don't live on the compound, and they're not protected like he is. "We could all be put in prison or worse!" Roman gets up from his desk, draws himself to his full height, and plants a full-sized white Stetson on his head to look as imposing as possible. "Nicolette," he says seriously, "you will not go spreading false rumors. Understood?" Nicki understands, all right. She leaves without another word, passing Rhonda and her mother in the anteroom on her way out.
