Lee and Bill are in an otherwise empty courtroom with a couple of DAs, trying to figure out what they're dealing with. The head DA lays it out for Bill: he can provide them with a written confession now and name the actual poisoner, or risk going to trial. He's pushing Bill pretty hard on this, and he mocks, "Is 'Mr. Untouchable' having a crisis of confidence?" Bill is actually kind of confused by that nickname, but then he gets it. He asks Lee for a moment alone.

Out in the hallway, Bill tells Lee that the DA doesn't have the goods, and wouldn't be pushing so hard for a confession if he did have the tape. "And I never called myself Mr. Untouchable," he adds. "What did you call yourself?" Lee asks, as if he would even want to know. Bill dodges the question, but Lee says the DA still has Alby's testimony. Bill isn't worried about going he-said/cult-said on this. Lee points out that once the DA does get a tape, the deal's not going to be as sweet. "Uch," Bill says nervously, looking trapped all over again.

At the runaway shelter, Barb has arrived and also called in the cavalry in the form of April Blessing. April's practically vibrating with excitement at having been summoned to help. "My work with April is off the record," Neal says, a bit nervously. April says she's already started some paperwork. That's when Nicki and Margene come in the front door, faux-innocently asking what Barb's doing there. "Just a last-minute thing," Barb non-answers, and glares at Margene, who just mouths something back at her. April introduces herself to Nicki, whom she already thinks she knows all about, as she goes on and on about how much compounds suck, which Nicki is so not in the mood to hear about right now. "We just want to make sure [Rhonda] gets placed with a good family," Barb says to Nicki's pinched glare. Nicki says something about setting Rhonda up with some relatives, which of course April doesn't think is a good idea. She's just offending Nicki more by the second. Nicki says that whatever Rhonda has told April, it's all lies. "I am not the one who is the liar," Rhonda says as she enters the room. Not the only one, that is. April's still trying to get to Nicki, which is just pissing off Nicki more and more, which is when Adaleen comes in, flanked by officers Lyle and Thomas. Anyone else want to join the scene? Bill? Cindy? That Cardinal that Michael Palin used to play in the Monty Python Spanish Inquisition sketch?
