Adaleen's pretty pissed and surprised to see Nicki there. "I don't know a thing about what's going on in this room," Nicki babbles. That's about the best she could expect to do under the circumstances. Adaleen informs Rhonda that she's going with them, and as Barb and April rush protectively to Rhonda's side, Adaleen says she has papers executed by the Volmers. Who apparently couldn't show up for the shooting of this week's episode after all. Barb says Rhonda's not leaving. Neal hustles Rhonda out of the room, and April adds that he needs to call security as well. Nicki appeals to her mother, saying that Rhonda wanted to leave and doesn't want to marry Roman in the first place. Adaleen accuses Nicki of brainwashing Rhonda (if only Adaleen knew), and calls Nicki an "ungrateful, selfish girl." Barb jumps to Nicki's defense and in turn calls Adaleen "a cold woman with a cold heart." At least all this non-cursing forces these people to be more creative and specific with their putdowns. Adaleen says (coldly, I might add) that she's only ever shown love to Nicki and her family, which Nicki says is a lie. She blurts that Roman is the one who exposed them, and Barb's face goes slack in shock -- which Margene observes worriedly -- as Adaleen angrily denies it, probably because this is the first she's heard of it. Things keep escalating until finally Adaleen tells Nicki, "You are disowned. You are cut off. You are nameless to us. You're not welcome in our home." So what are you saying? Adaleen turns on her heel to leave, followed by her pet officers, and Nicki tries to back down now that it's too late. The three wives are just left there staring at each other. Come on, April, don't you have anything to add?

Bill stands in a stairwell at the courthouse and dials his cell phone. Adaleen just happens to be arriving at the empty UEB offices in time to pick up the phone with a shakily cheerful, "UEB, how may I help you?" So Bill has just been hanging around the courthouse for the two hours it would have taken Adaleen to get back from the city? Bill asks to speak to Roman, but he's not in, so Bill makes a desperate appeal to Adaleen: "Your husband made a tape of me and I need to get it back." Adaleen pauses for so long that Bill wonders if she's still there. Adaleen unzips her purse and says, "There is no tape, Bill." Bill's not getting it, because he can't see Adaleen pulling out the paper towel-wrapped cassette she's been carrying around all along. "There is no tape, Bill," Adaleen repeats. "Understand? No tape." She hangs up on a still-confused Bill, then stands holding the incriminating tape for a moment before melting into tears. She pulls a bunch of the tape out of the shell, then drops the whole thing on the floor and crushes it with her boot. So maybe Nicki isn't as cut off as they think she is. Better sweep that tape wreckage up before Roman gets back, though.
