And now, the scene where Bill attempts to cultivate Ernest Holloway as his mole on the UEB council. Honestly, it's argh. Bill. Bleh! First he conscripts new father Joey into coming along so he can show some Juniper Creek cred, then he tosses a fat envelope of cash at Holloway, ostensibly to get the physical fitness program running but really as a bribe, and THEN -- oh, it's too much. When one of the Misses Holloway picks up a phone call and leaves the phone off the hook so that whomever's on the other line can listen in the whole time, Bill ignores Joey's warning and soldiers on with his offer. Dumb, dumb, dumb! In then end, Holloway tosses back the money with, "The man you hope to harm is the one true prophet of our holy church! May our heavenly father forgive you for this trespass." And for your criminal stupidity.
Back at the Henricksons' homes plus, Teeny's still on phone patrol. It turns out she's intercepting a phone call meant for Barb. Then she goes downstairs to hide an envelope in a stack of clay flowerpots. Margene notices, and comes out to see what Teeny's doing. There's a nice little bit where Teeny attempts to run around the pool while Margene yells, "No running around the pool, young lady! Stop it!" and then Margene finally gets her to sit down.
