Country club. Karl sucks at golf, which Brody is only too happy to point out. James tells us that the board has decided to find its CEO from within its ranks, and they're interviewing every upper-level executive as part of the search, including him. Brody then complains that his wife (to whom he refers as "Lady MacBeth," and all I can say to that is IF ONLY) wants him to plan and throw a birthday party at the club the next week to show her how much he cares about her, and complains that he didn't go to Harvard Business School for this. I don't buy that you went to Harvard Business School for anything, if you take my meaning. He whines that his wife brooks no dissent, and "it's like being married to Dick Cheney." Let's...not look too closely at that, okay? Duncan pulls up in a golf cart (without killing anyone, you'll notice) and says he's got trouble. If you're talking about those girly Gucci sunglasses, I agree.
The four of them are having beers under an umbrella when Duncan spills it -- he was coming back from "antiquing" (okay, heh) and felt tired, so he pulled into a truck stop for some coffee. In flashback, he gets out of his car, and he VOs that he saw a sexy woman nearby. She was obviously a hooker, and they quickly ended up heading into a men's room stall. Unfortunately, as we see, a state trooper walks in and sees enough under the door to infer that someone is currently giving her kneepads a workout. He arrested them both, but that's not the kicker, as we see "this dark, beautiful woman" taking a piss at the urinal. Hilariously, she then sheepishly turns and smiles at him, and Duncan deflates even more than he already had. We see him getting his mug shot taken...
...and then the guys are good-naturedly ribbing him. Although the jokes aren't funny, I do like that they're not all grossed out and instead are treating the incident more as an occupational hazard. I don't know how realistic that is, but it's a more enjoyable choice, I think. Brody then says this sort of crisis management is his specialty, and Karl pipes up that if there's no corroborating witness, the story is hearsay -- "until they get a hold of the tranny." I don't know -- unless they think the reporter will be able to get hold of the police reports, they should just let this go, right? Nevertheless, Duncan and Brody share a fist-dap as they agree to "track down the tranny." Yeah, I really don't picture Carrie and Charlotte doing this. Samantha, maybe.
