In a hurry? Read the recaplet for a nutshell description!

The sun rises over the Juniper Creek compound, and Adaleen has just noticed that the cash that used to be in the office is gone from the open cardboard box that was once its home. After how many days? She'd assumed that Alby had deposited it, but of course we all know that any deposit of that money was made by Nicki -- into her car. The phone rings, and Alby's creepy-ass wife grabs it before Adaleen can reach it. Alby tells some guy to go pull all the security logs and front gate sign-in sheets, which causes Adaleen to catch up to where Alby already is, which is the realization that somebody done robbed them. Her action plan: "We need to find them and skin them alive!" Or cut them off from the family again, as the case may be. Alby sits at Roman's desk, looking rather out of place there with the peeling blue-sky wallpaper behind him. It's not quite as presumptuous as donning Roman's hat would have been, but it's close. Mrs. Alby #1 gets off the phone and says to Alby that Roman is up and talking. Adaleen goes limp with relief. She's the only one in the room who does; Mrs. Alby #1 is looking at Alby like, Way to go, loser, and Alby is careful to keep his expression neutral. Because he likes being the boss so much, what with tens of thousands of dollars disappearing during literally the first five minutes of his watch. If he keeps up this kind of leadership, and lasts as long as Roman did, he may ultimately succeed in losing as much money during his entire tenure as the U.S. government does in a week.

Nicki's on the phone with Wanda, telling her how happy she is that Joey and Wanda are taking on a second wife, but that this "shacking up" simply won't do. Not that she's being judgmental; she just sees this as an excuse to help with the bonding party that Kathy's mom is throwing at her house. Which, in turn, is just an excuse for Nicki to use Wanda as an illicit merchandise mule. With all the cash Nicki has now, she's once again able to afford her old vice: mail-order catalogs. And in order to avoid suspicion at home, she's having all the crap she's ordering delivered to Wanda's house. She makes the excuse that it's Bill's idea, and the other wives will just get "jealous." Of course Nicki's lying, but if I were to find out that someone in my family had liberated sixty grand from a scary cult, I don't know if "jealous" would describe my feelings. Wanda confirms that Nicki will be there to help set up for the party tomorrow, but Nicki has already moved on to the next thing in her life, which is the sight of Ben currently sneaking into the yard over the back fence. Nicki looks shocked, pissed, and not remotely jealous.
