Back at the Clocktower, Barbara's examining the disc that Helena figures Scarface dropped. "Yeah, before he escaped!" tattles Dinah. Barbara says there's some encoding on it as though it's a keycard, and figures that determining what the symbol is might be crucial to figuring out what it's a keycard for. Helena says she'd better work fast, as that would have been the fifth woman to disappear this month, and there's no telling who the guy will go after next. "A metahuman woman, I'm guessing," says Barbara, and adds that after checking and cross-referencing databases of whatever, she discovered that all four of the women who did disappear were metahumans. Helena says she'll go down to Gibson's so he can "put the word out," and I have to say that if this guy were such a useful resource in the metahuman community, everyone would already know that four metahumans were missing, but whatever.
The Reese alarm goes off. "He's down by the river," says Barbara, telling them that one of the abducted women has turned up dead. Dinah volunteers to take the Gibson-informing duty from Helena. "That much I can do on my own," she says all snottily to Helena before stomping on out of there. "Thought having a sidekick was supposed to make things easier," says Helena to Barbara, who starts to say something, but I guess she forgot her line because she winds up not saying anything, just opening and closing her mouth like a goldfish.
Elsewhere, we corkscrew in on another street. Another long tall blonde walking the streets alone. Well, looking up the street, anyway. From off-camera we hear Scarface say, "I'd be happy to give you a lift." The woman smiles and says, "Are you going up town?" and the pause comes as she sees his horrible disfigurement, because I guess it's only safe to accept rides from strangers in crime-infested New Gotham if they don't have any facial scars. Her eyes glow green as Scarface says, "Well, no, actually," and shoots her in the chest with the yellow dart. As she collapses, he says, "Who says chivalry was dead?" and this guy needs a severe beating, if only because he's so frigging annoying.
