Gillian is reeling at the developments. Commodore can't speak as he stares back at Jimmy. Finally, Gillian screams at Jimmy to finish the old man off. Jimmy stabs the Commodore right in the heart. He staggers out of the room, but the blood loss from his shoulder (plus all the drinking) means he's barely out of the room before he passes out.
Fade in. Jimmy's bandaged up but woozy as hell. In the next room, Richard is cleaning up the floor around the Commodore's body. He sees Jimmy is awake, nods to him, and then closes the curtain. Jimmy passes out again, and when he wakes up, it's the voice of a ghost he hears. "Jimmy..." says Angela, "I have to leave." Surely a memory from their Princeton days. He looks over and sees his father's body is gone and the floor is cleaned up. Good ol' Richard. Gillian brings Tommy in to see his dad, so Jimmy hastily drapes a coat over his bloody shoulder. "I had a bad dream," the kid says. Jimmy says he did too, but everything's going to be fine. "Where's Mama?" he asks. Gillian's like, "I'm here. Don't worry." Yeeeah. She also tells Jimmy that she knows he didn't mean it about the whole choking thing. They don't have to talk about it again. That drawer is getting mighty full, you know? She takes Tommy off to bed, leaving Jimmy, struggling to stand up, to take in everything that's happened. Like, ever.
Joe R is making a list of characters he'd prefer to die in the season finale. Eli Thompson, it's not looking good. He can be reached for lavish praise and nothing but at joseph.reid21@gmail.com, and you can listen to him yammer on to his heart's content on the Extra Hot Great podcast.
