Ramos, always late with the info, plays two deleted messages from Rabjon's machine. But if they were deleted, then how did they...? One is from Monday morning, someone saying that the first up will be a Mercedes wagon. Ray and Gedrick walk in, smarmy and smiling, as if they're late again from something. The second message, Tuesday, tells Arnie to get ready for a BMW M3 convertible. But wait. I thought the murders happened two weeks apart? Why were the phone calls only one day apart? And is Rabjon just the guy handling the cars? He's the guy from the valet? This doesn't mean he did any kind of murdering at all. Ramos says that after he got the first message, the first family was hit and then after the second message the second family was hit. But two weeks! You said two weeks! Ramos says that this guy must not know that Rabjon is dead, because this is the message on his machine this morning. Wait, this morning? How many days have passed? How long have you been working on this case? "Hey, Arnie, one more for you." It's a Jaguar convertible. "Sayonara," he says. The message says it's from 8 this morning, but Wahlberg's watch says it's ten after 6. Ramos -- who holds all the cards -- explains that the one Jaguar from that night belongs to Henry Stein. "We have less than twenty-four hours," Wahlberg says, making that conclusion from absolutely nowhere.
Ray's adjusting his tie and walking down a hall as Wahlberg follows him, asking if he has a second. Wahlberg says they'll only get a two-man team in the house if they're being monitored as closely as they think they are. What makes them think they're being monitored? It appears that they know nothing about what is going on. How do they know the perps are on to them? There has been absolutely no indication. Anyway, Wahlberg says that Fearless will be coordinating things on the outside, and since Ray's the best shot, Wahlberg wants Ray inside with him. "Oh, now you're my secret admirer?" Ray asks. He says he knows Wahlberg's just worried about what Fearless would do in the house when faced with these people who upset him so much he has to leave rooms. With the Vista Heights mess, Wahlberg says he's doing Ray a favor -- that nobody wants to work with him. Ray says he knows Wahlberg is picking him so any dead bodies go on his record and not Fearless'. Ray walks away and Wahlberg shakes his head.
Daytime. I have no idea what day or anything. Just go with it. The surveillance van watches a house. Fearless, Ramos, Eddie, and Andrea are waiting tensely.
