Joel. He's certainly getting a lot of POVs these days, huh? Interrogation room. He sits Manzani down and asks how his eyes are doing. Manzani says that the "blurriness" finally went away. From the pepper spray of last week? "They said I was lucky. I don't know about that," says Manzani. I do. You're not dead. Manzani says that everybody's talking, and they know about the dedicated phone lines. Wahlberg asks whether he saw anything. Manzani immediately implicates Ramos, saying he saw the detective use the phone. Wahlberg brings him some coffee and asks whether he made any outside calls. "On that line? No," Manzani says. He scoffs at the notion that Wahlberg might think he's the rat. Wahlberg says he's just got to ask the questions. Manzani tells him to continue, and says he's never used that line. The IA guy just starts laughing here, and asks Wahlberg for a word outside. "Don't touch me," Wahlberg says as he passes him.
Out in the hallway, the IA fly chastises Wahlberg for going to easy on Manzani -- for coddling him about his eyes, the phone lines -- and calls Wahlberg a Columbo. Wahlberg calls him a son of a bitch and tells him to sit in the corner and shut up.
Trumper pulls his chair closer to Manzani. Wahlberg asks Manzani what he's got on his mind. Manzani says that the Norville situation has been on his mind. Wahlberg asks about his house in the valley that goes with his one in Lake Arrowhead. He asks Manzani whether he's got outside income from loans or gambling; otherwise, there's no way he could afford those two houses. "She got an inheritance. That's still legal, isn't it?" Wahlberg asks how much. This is too personal a question for Manzani. He says he's not going to tell Wahlberg "squat." He asks if Wahlberg thinks he "took a payday" to get his partner shot. Wahlberg shouts quite a few times, "Answer the question," but Manzani won't, and somehow he doesn't have to because everybody already knows he's the rat and there's no reason to have another half hour of this show. We're done with Law. Let's get to Order. Oh, right. They still haven't renamed this show. Manzani and Wahlberg get so overheated in their acting that they push us to a...
