Day Twenty-Eight. 8:30 AM. Wake Up. Ooh, they got to sleep in really late. The DIs wake them up and ask whether they cleaned up and made the beds. In an interview, DI Rosenbum says that when they walked in and saw the beds made, it showed that the recruits got it, and that they had trained them right. DI Rosenbum asks how the MREs are going. Wolf replies that they're low. DI Rosenbum says that they found some "MRE supplements" as a waitress wheels in a table of room-service breakfast. I love room service! And there is a lot of food there. Fruit. Coffee. Sausages. Omelets. Whitlow and Moretty look fired up! They have forty minutes to eat. They all run over to the tables, giggling. In an interview, Whitlow says that this was "the best prize for a winning mission yet." Wolf says that this is "the greatest morning of boot camp history." Moretty doesn't even know what to take, because there's so much food. They all chow down. In an interview, Wolf says that he had an omelet, hash browns, and Danishes. Moretti confides that he has a Ziploc bag, and Moretty looks interested. They joke about stealing food, but no one actually takes any. That we see, anyway. Moretti tells everyone that he's glad to be with those three instead of anyone else. In an interview, Wolf says that the breakfast was perfect, and that the only way it could have been better would be if McSweeney were fanning him while he ate, but maybe that'll happen when Wolf wins The Gauntlet. Yeah, that will probably happen. Keep dreaming, Wolf. The DIs come back into the room. DI McSweeney asks whether anyone put any food in his or her bag. They all say no. DI Rosenbum asks them again, and they all say no. They file out.
