Ronnie and Silver are throwing a party to kick off the season, so they go shopping and Ronnie loads up his Rascal scooter with beer. Silver explains that she and Ronnie do not do the dance with no pants, but then she climbs on Ronnie's lap for a quick zip down the frozen-foods aisle. He very classily says in a talking head that he doesn't know what would've happened if he hadn't hooked up with so many of Silver's friends, like, oh God, Ronnie.
Weight-lifting time for the boys. Chris coaches Ian while Josh pumps iron and speculates about how Ian might be sucking up to Chris. Chris hilariously checks out his abs in the mirror while Ian explains that he's hanging around Chris because he can learn from him.
Beckanne introduces us to her boyfriend, boy dancer Chase, and reminds us about Katie, her dear departed BFF who was deported to Idaho. Beckanne and Chase show up at Zach's apartment before the Ronnie-Silver party to pregame. Zach introduces his fiancé, Scott, who is also cute and pocket sized. Chase towers over both of them. They discuss the show, and Beckanne, unsurprisingly, wants to be Cinderella. Scott makes supportive-partner faces but he has a vague air of "can we have shots if we're going to talk about ballet for the sixty-fifth consecutive night?"
Ronnie and Silver's house. Allison and her roommate (I think?) Liz bring their dogs, because dogs are a thing you bring to parties at Ballet West. (Although at first I thought Liz was holding an infant, so a dog seems like an upgrade.) Chris arrives, without Christiana, and Allison declares her intention to get him rip-roaring drunk in front of the babies. Beckanne, Chase, Zach, and Scott show up and everyone clusters in the kitchen and tells Allison how happy they are that she's with ("with") Jonathan now. Allison speculates that's because they all want to nail Rex, and good. I hope Rex cuts a swath through Ballet West this season like he's Errol fuckin' Flynn. Except, you know, of age and consensual.
Ian shows up and exposits that now he can't have any fun since Chris is there and he wants to keep making a good impression. Zach and Scott grind on each other in the living room. Chase observes that Ian likes to spend a lot of his time with the more senior members of the company, which isn't as easy for Chase. Well, he's banging one, so that's should help.
