Ronald meets Katie's taxi and they snuggle like two adorable puppies. She says she's also auditioned in L.A., where they've also offered her a job. She's going to try and play some angles to see if she can be closer to Ronald. Katie returns to class, as she's still part of the company for another few months. She says it kind of sucks going to class when she's been fired, and yeah, that's rough. When I was laid off I could barely stand to stay in the building long enough to pack up my stuff.
Ronnie comes to the office with his signed contract. Hooray, fake drama over! The administrative lady says she's glad he decided to stay, and the way she grins at Ronnie makes me think maybe she is interested in his sword in a less than professional context.
At Casa Bros' Life, Rex and Ronald are talking about how they'd like to go home and visit their family, which includes two sisters and a brother who all dance and/or study with the San Francisco Ballet. Rex says he's already talked to their mom so the boys are going to San Francisco for the weekend. Ronald is thrilled, because he's really missed Carlisle and Emmett and the others.
Katie C. and Allison are roommates, and they have a big empty wood-floored dining room that they use for stretching. The sheer enormity of it (and the fireplace!) make me loathe New York City more than the summertime stench does. Allison does a talking head about how conflicted she is about Rex and oh, this is already so tedious. She is just not that into him, come on! Allison tells Katie that to get their Petite Mort bodies, they need to stop eating cheese and ice cream. Because the two of them are such gluttonous heifers.
At rehearsal, everyone talking heads about how porny Petite Mort is. There are many, many close-ups of the Ballet West company's impressive physiques. Christiana says that even though ballet includes intimacy between partners, there's a line between ballet and real life. And then we meet Christina's husband, Chris, who is one of the other principals. She says he gets a little jealous when she dances with other guys, which she seems to find both sweet and hot. I agree. He's a cutie.
Ronnie says that when you look at your partner in the studio and think you love her, it's easy to look at her the same way outside the studio. And now, back to the Rex & Allison Emotional Abuse Hour! Rex says he tries to trick himself into believing he's in love with his partner so that it feels real for the audience, and as he and his partner, Liz, rehearse, the shot changes focus so we can see Allison in the background, glowering croneishly.
