Nora stands in her new "nerve center" surveying the empty walls and beleaguered shelves. The once-crowded room is empty. She looks really sad despite the fact that she has space for her three phone lines as well as a copier that prints and a printer that copies. Justin walks in and surmises that the room looks a lot bigger. Nora starts to sniffle. Justin surprises her with the return of the Monkey. He thought she might need it. Nora hugs the monkey and thanks Justin for being so smart. Nora can't believe how upset she is. Justin reminds her that they were married for forty years -- that's a whole life! Nora thought she was over it, that she had accepted it, but then she looked up at the table and it was all gone! She has tears in her eyes. Justin confides that sometimes he still wants a drink. Which, to my mind, does not really parallel the situation, but whatever. He tells her that sometimes it just feels like hell, but it does go away. She wishes that it didn't get to her. She hates it! Justin promises that one day it won't hurt so much and she'll be able to remember the good stuff. Speaking of good stuff, Nora returns the Monkey in all his kitschy, still price-tagged glory to its spot on the mantle.
Tommy and Sarah sit next to each other in the backyard. They are re-making the time capsule for future generations with the added addition of their babies' pictures. They seal it back up and Tommy buries it. Tommy asks Sarah if she thinks the kids will want to work at Ojai. She laughs that they won't inflict that on the kids. Tommy admits that he got over their Dad bringing her to the company. In fact, he almost started to like it there, like when they were kids. It's just not the same with Holly. He wants them to give it another shot. Holly won't be there forever. Sarah laughs that she's not holding her breath. But Tommy replies, "You never know." Which is such a teaser!
Back at Ojai, Holly can't believe she just had a two hour meeting on the climate control at a warehouse. Rebecca laughs that the meeting looked boring. Holly invites Rebecca for lunch at the taco truck. Rebecca agrees, but she wants to file or start an overtime review of something about time cards first. Holly tells her that she pulled the files already. She can find them on the desk. Rebecca finds the files all right. The files on Ryan Lafferty. Yikes!
