Inside Walker Manor Nora is dictating instructions to Justin. She wants him to tell Sarah to set up the tool table right up front so that the husbands will see the tools and want to go to the sale with their wives. Sneaky sale strategy, Nora! Justin asks her again if she is sure she wants all that stuff to go. People are going to start coming soon and when that stuff is gone it's gone. Nora is sure. Justin soldiers on. He knows how hard it must have been to find out William had another affair, but... Is this acting out? Nora claims it's not. And how weird is it to accuse your parent of acting out? Nora explains that she is not angry, hurt, or anything but relieved. She admits she felt betrayed when she first found out about Holly. She thought he really must have loved Holly since he stayed with her for twenty years. She always thought she didn't give him something, but when she found out about the other woman she realized that William didn't love Holly. He was a cheat, plain and simple. So she's relieved. End of story.
Holly is buttering up the guy who was researching Ryan Lafferty for her. She is so happy to have friends in high places. The guy chuckles since he is obviously not in a high place at all. He has all the info the clerk's office had on Ryan Lafferty. Holly continues the charade that this information will somehow help her daughter and how thrilled she will be to see Ryan Lafferty again. The guy stops her. She is not the first person to ask him for information, but he doesn't want to get involved in something that could come back and bite him. Holly pauses thoughtfully and then explains that she had questions about a man that she loved, but he passed. She hopes Ryan Lafferty could answer some of those questions. She swears it is nothing illegal. The clerk hands over the files and Holly thanks him. Seriously, Holly. Have you ever heard of Google? So much more legal than bribing a county clerk.
It's yard sale time! Nora has put out a spread of cookies and lemonade and chips to lure people to the sale. The yard sale is jam packed with a soundtrack of "Our House" playing in the background. Nora is running around bossing everyone. Overcharging for some things like her sons' yearbook blazer with buttons missing and undercharging for anything that is William's. Rebecca asks her about a painting, but Nora doesn't know where it came from. But it can go right into her house for a mere three dollars! Kitty tries to save the Arnold Palmer autographed golf ball to sell to a collector, but Nora insists on selling it for three dollars. She is a crappy fundraiser. The Senator compliments Nora on her lemonade, but Nora isn't feeling forgiving yet and tells him it's a mix. The Senator finds Kevin's plus-sized GI Joe doll with Eagle Eye vision. The Senator offers him any amount of money, but Kevin won't let him buy it because GI Joe doesn't have any more tours of duty in him. The Senator claims GI Joe will be getting R & R on a bookshelf, but Kevin is pretty sure he will be sent out on a useless and never-ending war. Kevin is holding on to some serious issues. It's your sister's husband. Stop being such an ass! Kevin continues being an ass. He points out some paraphernalia The Senator could send off to pet projects hidden in the Halsey Bill. The Senator can't believe Kevin knows about the bill. He is impressed. With how much an ass Kevin is. Kevin finally blurts out that Kitty didn't have to give up her career as a pundit, but she did to go work with The Senator. She committed herself to the office and to him and he should show some gratitude. Kevin gives GI Joe to some kid who is walking by. The Senator looks hurt.
