Nora and Ryan walk and talk about the whole sordid tale. Ryan has to stop and draw a diagram to keep it all straight. So, you thought Rebecca was the new sibling, but then after months of awkward getting to know yous, getting to know all about yous (everybody sing!) they figured out it wasn't Rebecca. So then out of the blue they discovered it was Ryan. And Nora knew about Holly, but William swore he was ending it, but she never knew about Ryan's mom. Ryan asks Nora how many there were and if there were others? She shakes her head because she honestly doesn't know. Ryan sighs and sits down. He has been holding onto the idea that William was worth it all, but he pretty much sounds like a dick. Which sums it up about right. Nora sits down next to him and tries to defend William. Sort of. Not much to defend really. As she explains that Ryan's feelings are natural and all her kids went through it, Ryan bristles. He doesn't want another mother, and now that he has all the dirt he doesn't really want to hang around Nora anymore. He thanks her for coming and heads off to study. Or maybe up his thorazine level.
Back in New York, David and Rebecca discuss art, NY/LA vernacular, and buzz. Since she and David are getting along so well and everything is roses and unicorns, when her phone rings again, Rebecca decides to answer. It's Justin and boy is he due for a lesson in winning your girl back. The second he hears Rebecca's voice he starts hollering about where she is, why she isn't answering his calls, and why her mother is coming over to yell at him. Rebecca asks about her mom stopping by and Tommy yells some more about her hacking into Tommy's computer and then Rebecca hangs up, because really, who wouldn't? Justin? Shut up. Seriously take a cold shower, count to ten, call your sponsor, call your sister or your mother. Just do something besides yell because you are going to give yourself an aneurysm and me a headache. Also, shut up.
