Later, Nora goes to find the only person who understands the situation: William Walker. Sadly she doesn't use John Edward (or John Edwards) or even a Ouija Board to contact the dead rapscallion, but just goes to talk to his grave. She remembers the kids sitting around the living room the morning after the accident, teasing each other, signing Tommy's cast, kids being kids. That memory reminds her of exactly why she didn't tell Kevin about the accident. They were just kids and she wanted it to be okay. She wishes it had all been okay. She damns William Walker and his stupid Narrow Lake. If he had never bought it, Dennis York wouldn't be sniffing around for a tree to pee on and no one would have ever found out about Kevin's lil accident. She swears that she will fix this situation if it is the last thing that she does. And then she will NEVER come visit William Walker's grave again. Never not ever. Maybe Nora didn't bring John Edward with her because she didn't want to hear what William had to say for himself. And she didn't bring John Edwards for obvious gropey reasons.
Holly calls Nora desperate to speak to her about the potential sale of her company to skeeze ball Dennis York. (Shut it, spell check, "skeeze" is to a word.) Justin and Rebecca walk into the house just as Holly hangs up the phone after leaving a pleading voicemail for Nora. Holly begs Justin to tell her what is going on, but Justin has no idea. The Walker phone tree has collapsed under the weight of tragedy and no one has told the Littlest Walker what is going on. Useless phone tree! And after all those years of practice. Justin shrugs and tells Holly that he's not going to sell his shares in Ojai, but he has no control over his siblings or his mother and he is just going to stay out of it. And he would appreciate it if she would let him. He then notices the painting that Holly did that used to be in William Walker's office. When he asks about it, Holly shrugs that it was just a little cabin on the lake where William used to take her. At the mention of the day's secret words "William" and "lake" everyone looks at each other and runs to the courthouse. Unfortunately, it is just another dead end. Holly looks dejected and leaves Justin and Rebecca at the courthouse. And what do two long-engaged people who probably already have a license after their failed marriage attempt do when they are at a courthouse? Get married on a whim, of course! Justin reminds Rebecca that she asked him to marry her in Mexico, but he wouldn't because the family wasn't there. But now he has decided he hates his entire family and, thus, is ready to get married! Rebecca thinks that is really sweet, so: Huzzah! Hugs and kisses! Zap, you're married!
