Cut to Michael stashing his new client in the trunk of the CadillAxe and laying tracks out of there. As he drives, he VOs a lament about the advent of airbags and the difficulty they cause for certain evasive maneuvers: "Gone are the days when you could run through a stand of trees without a faceful of nylon." You can still do stuff like that, he continues, and as the Caddy backs through a stand of trees, Michael admits, "It's a little hard on anyone who's stuffed in your trunk." But soon enough, Michael is out on the main road, leaving the cops far behind. Which is good, because one of them might have been Horatio Caine and Michael certainly wouldn't want to meet up with that guy. Would he?
